Adventure Seeker and Freedom Rider

Hey, my name is Kim. Ladakh holds a special place in my heart. In my home country, the Netherlands, I’m passionate about my profession as a psychosomatic physiotherapist, Olympic weightlifting, and of course, my motorbike. I ride my BMW GS 650 for daily commutes and I love every minute of it. But in my search for high mountains, desolate landscapes, and meaningful encounters, I like to travel the world and ride what’s available.

 

Traveling on two wheels offers me freedom and connection to my surroundings. My adventures in countries like Pakistan, Tajikistan, Iran, and Namibia enrich my understanding of diverse cultures.

 

As an avid solo traveler, I enjoy independent adventures but also cherish meaningful encounters with fellow travelers. This led to the creation of Shakti Expeditions after meeting Surendra at Pangong Lake. Together, we aim to empower motorcycle riders to conquer the world on motorcycles!
